Casual Part-Time 0-40 hours weekly   Position Objective:   The Per Diem Nurse/Health Supervisor is responsible for the health needs of participants and staff on a per-diem basis, in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Key Job Accountabilities:   - Oversees MHA healthcare centers for the days and times for which they are scheduled. - Advises MHA program team as serious health related situations arise. - Enforces MHA’s Healthcare Services’ Policies and Procedures. - Oversees completion and submission of Workers’ Compensation forms, Campers’ Insurance and guest or participants’ Incident reports. - Keeps Healthcare Services Administrator up to date and informed about any serious injuries or illness. - Utilizes Circuitree to document healthcare delivered and phone reports to parents. - Documents staff clinical interactions in the Campers’ Log.   Supervisory Responsibilities:   May direct the work of Health Technicians while on duty.

Regular Part-Time 20-35 hours weekly   Position Objective:   TheCamp Services Worker is responsible for delivering adventure and recreation programs, accommodations services, dining services, and facilities services support while demonstrating excellent customer service by acting with a guest-first attitude in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   Key Job Accountabilities:   - Ensure guest satisfaction and provide a memorable visit through provision of exceptional service (friendly, safe, efficient, thorough, ministry minded). - Work well with co-workers, guests, and other MHA staff; displaying a team-oriented mindset and attitude. - Co-lead adventure and recreation activities.  These activities may include (but are not limited to): indoor and outdoor climbing walls, static and dynamic challenge courses and fieldhouse (gymnasium) supervision.  May also receive further training to lead or assist with archery, laser tag, paintball, or other recreation activities ensuring an engaging, informative and inspiring experience. - Clean housing units and complete the daily room service forms. - Prepare facilities for camps and conferences to serve the needs of our campers and guest groups. - Clean facilities during events and camps as needed. - Assist with periodic facilities services tasks, which may include carpet cleaning, window washing, pressure-washing walkways, hauling debris to dump, stocking firewood, etc. - Follow all safety guidelines and report all maintenance, repair and safety hazards in writing to Supervisor to ensure completion of necessary repairs in a timely manner. - Properly maintain all assigned tools, equipment and vehicles to ensure they are available to others as needed. - Other duties as assigned.   Education/Certifications/Licenses:   - Minimum High School Diploma or GED; some college or equivalent combination of education and experience desired (must be at least age 18). - Requires current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications.

Casual Part-Time 0-35 hours weekly. Four weekend days a month required.    Position Objective:   Adventure Customer Service Specialists serve as the first point of contact for both guest inquiries and face-to-face interaction upon arrival to Mount Hermon Adventures. Adventure Customer Service Specialists are responsible for consistent execution of guest bookings and retail objectives, as well as creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere at the Adventure center in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Key Job Accountabilities:   - Provide consistent, timely, and professional interactions with Mount Hermon Adventures guests throughout the booking process, from inquiry to arrival. - Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person requests regarding Mount Hermon Adventures professionally and knowledgably. - Receive, protect, and deposit all cash, checks, credit cards, and personnel information of guests and staff in a timely, secure and organized manner. - Understand and utilize all office reports and forms. - Keep adequate supplies of forms, brochures, and other needed materials on hand. - Deliver excellent customer service by connecting with the guests; anticipating, discovering and responding to their needs. - Perform merchandising duties: folding, hanging, and displaying products according to retail merchandising standards. Check and restock items. - Maintain a clean and well-organized front office area and back-stock area. - Alert Adventure Customer Service Lead if merchandise is damaged or out of stock. - Other duties as assigned.   Supervisory Responsibilities: - This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. - Adventure Customer Service Specialists will closely interact with Canopy Tour guides, Adventure/Recreation Staff, and guests to achieve consistently excellent organization and programming, and to enforce MHA policies and safety standards

Training Dates for Redwood Canopy Tour Guide                                Trainees must attend each day of training from 9-5pm #1 Feburary 23-25, 2018 and March 2-4, 2018#2 April 27-29, 2018 and May 4-6, 2018#3 June 4-8, 2018  Casual Part-Time 0-35 hours weekly   Position Objective:   The Redwood Canopy Tour Assistant Guide is responsible for effectively guiding guests through a series of 6 interconnected zip lines and 2 suspension bridges on an engaging, informative, and exhilarating experience so that guest’s experiences are authentic, quality, and inspirational. They are also responsible to deliver excellent customer service to all guests by acting with a “guest comes first” attitude while following all operational policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure quality program delivery in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Key JobAccountabilities:   - Properly fit, train, and monitor guests in the use of all personal protective equipment. - Meet curriculum delivery guidelines specific to the program and needs of the clients. - Attend monthly in-service rescue refresher trainings. May not guide if more than two months since last in-service. - Provides for an emotionally, physically, and spiritually safe environment with both guests and staff. - Assist with daily opening and closing of the tour, course, and support areas. - Conduct visual and tactile inspections of all hardware and equipment being used on tour. - Perform occasional course maintenance including trail work, scattering wood chips, working with volunteer programs, trimming, etc. - Report and log any safety concerns or incidents/accidents. - Provide peer reviews of your guiding partner after each tour.   Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Position Objective: Lifeguards provide instruction, supervision, and ensure the safety and well-being of all campers and staff involved in all water-based activities at Mount Hermon in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   Key Job Accountabilities    - Responsible to act as a first responders in events of injury - Responsible to provide a safe environment (physically, mentally, and emotionally) for guests to enjoy aquatic activities - Provides supervision of aquatic activities at Mount Hermon - Accountable for upholding and enforcing pool rules to ensure safety of all using the pool - Responsible for performing the certified lifeguard activities while working at Mount Hermon in a professional and productive manner at the pool as well as away from the pool - Responsible to assist, Aquatics Team Lead and other lifeguards with daily, weekly, and monthly pool maintenance - Responsible to maintain, document and report any damaged operating equipment and facilities - Perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor Supervisory Responsibilities   - None.

Casual Part-Time 0-30 hours weekly   Position Objective: The Mount Hermon Beach Lifeguard is responsible for minimizing risk and facilitating positive surf experiences for junior high and high school campers throughout the summer (and on occasion in the fall) in order to provide them with an opportunity to interact with God’s creation and cultivate physical, spiritual, and emotional growth.   Key Job Accountabilities: - Perform the certified beach lifeguard activities while working at Mount Hermon in a professional and productive manner. - Care for injured individuals as a first responder. - Create a positive environment by minimizing emotional, physical, and spiritual risk for both guests and staff. - Interact with campers in a way that supports Mount Hermon’s mission and vision. - Assist with transportation of campers from Ponderosa Lodge to the beach and back as well as thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surf equipment and trailer for the next activity at the end of each activity as needed. - Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:   - This position does not supervise employees or volunteers.
