Regular Part-Time 20-35 hours weekly   Position Objective:   The Coordinator is responsible for programming and operation coordination of the Child Care and Day Camp programs and facilities for family camps sponsored by Mount Hermon and selected guest groups in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values.   Key Job Accountabilities:   - Review and hire summer and part-time applicants  within established parameters. - Work collaboratively with the Director of Children’s Ministry, Director of Program Ministries and Human Resources. - Oversee supervision, orientation, training and scheduling of staff. - Work with supervisor in developing the Child Care, Day Camp and Special Needs budget and stay within budgetary guidelines. - Promptly fulfill various organizational and legal administrative requirements. - Manage direct reports’ timecards and paperwork in accordance with MHA  policy (as well as your own). - Develop and/or select  age-oriented curriculums: theme, Bible stories, songs, crafts, etc., for camps in conjunction with Family Camp Director. - Regularly maintain Child Care and Day Camp Manuals, as well as tracking our 1-on-1 special need campers. - Inventory and implement parent info. sheets, sign-in/out sheets, counts sheets, etc. for programs. Inventory and purchase supplies: paper, crafts, food, diapers, bubbles, etc. - Work with supervisor on developing and implementing all programmatic and operational functions to put on 4-6 non-summer month weekend children’s events.   - As requested and available, participate in Program and Administrative meetings. - Additional duties as directed by Supervisor.   Supervisory Responsibilities:   Family Camp Children’s Ministry Coordinator oversees summer staff, seasonal and part-time staff, as needed.

Full-Time    Position Objective:   The Director of Advancement Outreach & Growth has broad responsibility for growing the number of MHA supporters, primarily via our summer youth camp constituency (Redwood Camp & Ponderosa Lodge) and non-summer youth conferences, as well as the Neighborhood Day-Camp Program, in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values   Key Job Accountabilities:   - Collaborate with the Vice President of Advancement and the entire Advancement Team in preparing a detailed action plan and works creatively to meet or exceed specific, agreed upon funding goals. - Collaborate with the Vice President of Advancement in establishing and executing short and long-range strategies for increasing MHA’s donor family from appx 2500 to 4000+. - Engage youth camper parents on check-in and checkout days at Redwood Camp and Ponderosa Lodge during the summer, as well as Fall Frenzies, Jr. Getaways, Parent/Child Retreats and the check-in and checkout days at Neighborhood Day Camps throughout the Bay Area. - Identify and connect with existing MHA Donors, Associates and Alum. to cultivate ministry partnerships and support.  Create individual written plans designed to move each relationship in measurably deeper ways. - Identify, cultivate and steward major gift prospects and donors, thus building a strong pipeline of future gifts while meeting short-term goals. - Identify constituents who would be willing to serve as regional volunteer leaders for future MHA events in their area. - Creatively respond to the ministry’s changing needs in the area of Advancement. - Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.   Supervisory Responsibilities:   - This position will direct the work of our office administrator in specific areas as well as volunteers in specific Advancement related projects.

Review status of assignments and any follow-up action necessary. - Check room attendant’s closet for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness or mechanical problems. - Reports any safety hazards or violations immediately and follow all designated safety rules and procedures - Adhere to Lost and Found policy, and deliver all items to Housekeeping Office found in rooms, cabins or linen closets. - Organize and direct deep cleaning teams. - Release units to registration when ready. - Assist in returning furniture to the proper location as needed. - Report feedback to Accommodations Manager regarding room attendant performance and assist in identifying retraining needs. - Various special projects as requested by the housekeeping supervisor. - Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.   Supervision:   This position does not supervise other employees or volunteers.

They are also responsible to deliver excellent customer service to all guests by acting with a “guest comes first” attitude while following all operational policies and procedures to minimize risk and ensure quality program delivery in a manner consistent with MHA’s mission, vision and values. Key JobAccountabilities:   - Properly fit, train, and monitor guests in the use of all personal protective equipment. - Meet curriculum delivery guidelines specific to the program and needs of the clients. - Attend monthly in-service rescue refresher trainings. Casual Part-Time 0-30 hours weekly   Position Objective: The Mount Hermon Beach Lifeguard is responsible for minimizing risk and facilitating positive surf experiences for junior high and high school campers throughout the summer (and on occasion in the fall) in order to provide them with an opportunity to interact with God’s creation and cultivate physical, spiritual, and emotional growth.   Key Job Accountabilities: - Perform the certified beach lifeguard activities while working at Mount Hermon in a professional and productive manner. - Care for injured individuals as a first responder. - Create a positive environment by minimizing emotional, physical, and spiritual risk for both guests and staff. - Interact with campers in a way that supports Mount Hermon’s mission and vision. - Assist with transportation of campers from Ponderosa Lodge to the beach and back as well as thoroughly cleaning and preparing the surf equipment and trailer for the next activity at the end of each activity as needed. - Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities:   - This position does not supervise employees or volunteers.
